Call for Papers BMD2010

Symposium on Bicycle and Motorcycle Dynamics 2010, Delft, The Netherlands

Dear colleague,

                                   February 8, 2010

An international three-day symposium on bicycle and motorcycle dynamics, BMD2010, will be held at Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, October 20-22, 2010.

The aim of this symposium is to bring together leading scientists and researchers in the field of bicycle and motorcycle dynamics and control, in a broad sense. The format of the symposium is a single track of presentations and ample time is scheduled for interaction, informal discussions and idea sharing. In addition there will be room for poster presentations.

Topics include, but are not limited to: bicycles, motorcycles, unicycles, modelling, kinematics and dynamics, control, human control, handling qualities, tyres, experiments, simulators, nonholonomic dynamics, robot riders, path following.

We invite you to participate in this symposium and to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation about your recent work in the field of this symposium.  For planning purposes we should like to know whether you intend to accept this invitation at your earliest convenience.

Further information about this symposium can be found at the website:

We are looking forward to your contribution to the symposium.
